Cambodia

CAMBODIA (Phnom Penh, Siem Reap & Battamburg): 20th to 29th March

Internet as expected is dreadful in Cambodia & very expensive so for the next 10 days there will be limited updates done to the blog & apologies for any typing errors but the keyboard is dreadful. Have been trying upload pictures for the last 1 & 1/2 hours & after the 2nd powercut have lost everything that was uploaded! Will try to upload some.

Travelling Cambodia with Steve & Caroline who we met up with again in Ho Chi Minh City. Weather is very hot & humid here to.

Spent 3 days in Phnom Penh: visited the Tuol Sleng Museum (the place where the Keymer Rouge carried out the torture & murder of millions of Cambodians; also visited the Killing Fields (where the murder & Burial of their victims took place; The Royal Place with it temples)

Have set up our Angkor Wat emple pictures from Siem Reap on a separate page for convenience.

Decision now made about our last leg as independent travellers. We will move on on March 28th to go next to Battamburg in Cambodia before crossing the border to go to Chantanburi in Thailand before going on to Bangkok for our onward flight to Hong Kong. We've decided to not go to an island in Thailand as couldn't find an affordable place to stay with swimming pool.
