We only spent 3 days in Bangkok having arrived around 8pm. First night we spent in a hotel in the Kao San Road. For the next 3 nights we moved to a hotel with a pool, much needed in the heat. For the first day we visited the Royal Palace & a couple of the big Wats. For the remainder of our time here we intend to take it easy & catch up with our interneting, transfer photos on to discs & swim. Also hope to visit the huge weekend market which has over 8,000 stalls. Move on to Hong Kong on the 5th (where we celebrate my birthday with our China tour starting on the 6th). Gill plans to buy me a fake Rolex in the Bangkok night market as my pressie.
